Pricing
It's really important to me to provide transparent pricing information. When I was planning my wedding I found it really frustrating to not have a clue, or even a rough idea, how much things would cost before inquiring about them. There are many reasons why suppliers aren't able to, or don't provide prices without consultation:
- It is difficult to price work when full details haven't been discussed, extra design and customisations will cost more than simple pieces of work.
- Prices of materials can vary depending on availability, and can go up and down.
- Sometimes planning a wedding is so overwhelming, Brides and Grooms may change their minds about what they want which means costs can go up (or even down), i.e. different weighted paper and finishes can cost more and these can change throughout the design process.
- Suppliers might think that seeing a price of hundreds of pounds might scare off potential customers, before speaking with them, and showing them the quality of their products.
I don't mark up any of the materials I use, so all I charge extra for is the design time, and the time it takes to make your invitations and signage.
Many people think that as soon as you say the word wedding, prices are immediately pushed up, but that is not always the case. What's important to remember is the care and attention that goes into making things so beautiful for your big day, and the time it can take to make it perfect.
You will pay for the materials and printing, but I won't make a profit on these, I charge them at cost price. I will always be upfront though about the time it will take me to design and make your invitations, and this shouldn't change much, unless you decide to upgrade a simple design to one that's very complex.
As a rough guide, in 2022-2023, you should expect to pay around
But, please speak with me for more information as I will always try to accommodate a budget.
